Hey Fellowship family,
The vision of the Fellowship of Congregational Churches is to to be:
‘a dynamic fellowship of evangelical churches, with each church effectively reaching its local community with the Gospel and collectively impacting our nation and the world for Christ.’
While our recent review has highlighted some gaps in how we are reaching this vision, we are working towards building a stronger and healthier network to resource and facilitate ministry in our local churches.
This video gives us brief update of some things that have been happening in our network, these past few months.
Considering this, we’d love you to consider partnering with us to help us better achieve this vision. This can happen in a few ways:
1. Partner by praying.
Firstly, we covet your prayers as we seek god’s will and future for us as a Fellowship.
2. Partner by your presence.
We’d love for you to get in touch and let us know your thoughts on how you're feeling about where we're up to.
3. Partner by giving.
Lastly, we need financial resource to fulfill the vision. Our Fellowship has always relied on the partnership of our local churches, we ask that you partner with us financially as we build a new future.
The Executive Committee would also like to take this opportunity to highlight to you the Fellowship’s current financial position. The budget approved at Assembly was for donations totaling $167,000. Donations in the last financial year totaled $78,445. Donations in this financial year to the end of February have totaled $35,649.
It would be great if you and your church communities could consider how you can be partnering with us as we look at leading our Fellowship into the future.
If your church is still intending to make voluntary contributions for this financial year, it would be very helpful to receive those contributions as soon as is practical.
